Praise the Lord and God bless you.

00:06

This is Judith Young and this is day eight and the title of this message is Abide in Me and I in You.

00:15

You invited Jesus Christ to come into your heart as your Savior, right?

00:20

So He is here in you, in your inner man, and I know that I have Him abiding in me and I in Himand we are to be one with Him as His family, as His church, who is also His body to function through, His helpmate.

00:42

22-23 it says, And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be head over all things to the church, which is his body, the fullness of him that filleth all in all.

01:00

16-17, The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ, the bread which we break?

01:12

Is it not the communion of the body of Christ?

01:15

For we being many are one bread and one body, for we are all partakers of that one bread.

01:28

says, Now you are the body of Christ and members in particular.

01:34

So with these three passages, there's a revelation the Lord showed me.

01:40

Remember when Jesus with the disciples and He took the bread and the fishes and He blessed it, gave thanks to God for it, broke it, the bread, you know, gave it to the disciples and they, it multiplied.

01:58

He did a miracle with it and multiplied.

02:00

It was a miracle.

02:01

Well, the Lord showed me when he ascended up on high after the resurrection, he walked in the earth as a second man, but he ascended up to the Father, to the throne, and doing so, there was a blessing of his body and a breaking forth of the bread that was passed to each of all of us that receive him.

02:26

The couple blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ?

02:31

The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?

02:36

For we being many are one bread and one body, for we are all partakers of that one bread.

02:43

Now we are the body of Christ and members in particular.

02:47

He gave gifts unto men.

02:49

He distributed himself throughout every member.

02:54

It was a miracle.

02:56

And it's still, that miracle is still happening because there's a distribution of the manna from heaven, Jesus Christ.

03:07

So without Christ Jesus, without the Spirit of the Son in us, we can do nothing.

03:13

So we have the Spirit of the Son within us.

03:18

We don't see Him after the flesh man anymore, but we see Him by Spirit.

03:24

16.

03:27

Let me read verse 15 so we get what's before it and after to get a little better understanding.

03:34

It says, And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.

03:45

Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.

03:57

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature, old things are passed away behold, all things are become new.

04:05

And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation, to wit that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them, and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

04:27

Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us.

04:31

We pray you in Christ's stead be you reconciled to God, for he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin, that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

04:42

So now we are joined to the head, who is Christ Jesus, and we grow up into him, who is the head.

04:50

Ephesians 4 tells us about how that the apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor, and teacher is for the edifying of the body of Christ.

05:00

Let's go there.

05:00

Ephesians 4 verse 1 chapter 4 of Ephesians says I therefore the prisoner of the Lord beseech you that you walk worthy of the vocation wherewith you are called with all lowliness and meekness with long-suffering for bearing one another in love.

05:18

Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace, there is one body, one Spirit, even as you are called in one hope of your calling, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all and through all and in you all.

05:38

But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

05:44

Wherefore, he saith, when he ascended up on high,He led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.

05:53

Now that He ascended, what is it but that He also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?

06:02

He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that He might fill all things.

06:11

And He gave some apostles, and some prophets, and some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come in the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the statue of the fullness of Christ, that we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind a doctrine, by the sleight of menand cunny craftiness whyby they lie in wait to deceive.

06:50

But speaking the truth in love may grow up into Him in all things, which is the head, even Christ, from whom the whole body, fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working and the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

07:19

So being the body of Christ, we are joined to the head, not separate from Him, but joined to the head, one with Him.

07:28

So we are the body of Christ and members in particular.

07:32

Now without Christ Jesus, the Spirit of the Son in us and working in us and through us, without Him we can do nothing.

07:41

So the only way for us to be that blessing to another is if Christ Jesus is working through us and the Father is speaking through us doing the work.

07:54

4-5 says, Abide in me, and I in you, as the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine no more can you, except you abide in me.

08:06

I am the vine, you are the branches he that abideth in me, and I in him.

08:12

The same bringeth forth much fruit, for without Me you can do nothing.

08:17

So since Christ abides in us and we abide in Him, then we can ask the Father anything according to His will, and it will be done for us.

08:26

The Father is glorified in the Son through us too.

08:30

He is the vine and we are His branches.

08:34

23-24 says, And in that day ye shall ask Me nothing.

08:40

Verily, verily, I say unto you, whatsoever you shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.

08:47

Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name, ask and ye shall receive that your joy may be full.

08:55

13-14, And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

09:06

If ye shall ask anything in my name, I will do it.

09:10

So there's a lot of scriptures, confirmations that as Christ we are joined to the head and yield it to the Lord and we grow up into Him in all things and mature and allow His gifts to bless us and be in the gift, blessing others, so that we now can come to the Father in grace and in the blood of the Lamb, we can come to the Fatheranytime knowing that we can have full fellowship and peace with the Father and ask Him anything and talk about His Kingdom and just find things out concerning the sons of God even, because we are the sons of God, so we can find things out.

09:56

18-24 says, My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue, but in deed and in truth.

10:05

Hereby know we that we are of truth, and shall assure our hearts before Him.

10:10

For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.

10:16

Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then we have confidence toward God.

10:21

And whatsoever we ask, we receive of Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.

10:29

And that's the key, is doing what He requires of us, and that is to love one another.

10:36

And verse 23, And this is His commandment, that we should believe on the name of His Son, Jesus Christ, and love one another as He gave us commandment.

10:46

And he that keepeth His commandments dwelleth in Him,and He in Him and hereby we know that He abideth in us by that Spirit or by the Spirit which He hath given us.

11:00

It's important to be led of the Spirit in all things though.

11:05

Discretion, you know, just ask Him what it is that we should do in a given situation.

11:12

Don't just assume just because certain ones might say this is love, this is love,But God says, No, I don't want you to go and do that.

11:21

We need to be obedient to what the Father says.

11:25

So knowing that we are become one with the Son of God, Jesus Christ, we are also become one with the Father.

11:33

Hallelujah.

11:35

19-24, Jesus tells us that He will manifest Himself to us.

11:41

and that if we would love Him, then we will keep His words, and the Father in Him will make their abode with us.

11:50

19-23 says, Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more, but you see me, because I live, you shall live also.

12:00

At that day you shall know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you.

12:06

He that hath my commandments and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me,And he that loveth me shall be loved my Father, and I will love him and will manifest myself to him.

12:17

So grab a hold of that.

12:19

So following the Lord's words, keeping his word, abiding in him, he will make himself known to us.

12:25

He will manifest himself to us.

12:28

He is come.

12:30

And in verse 22 and 23, Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us and not unto the world?

12:40

Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words, and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

12:52

And in this passage of Scripture, look at the conversation that Jesus has with Philip and other disciples.

12:59

9-18.

13:00

It says, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip?

13:07

He that hath seen me hath seen the Father,And how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?

13:14

Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me?

13:18

The words that I speak unto you, I speak not of myself, but the Father that dwelleth in me, He doeth the works.

13:26

Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me, or else believe me for the very works' sake.

13:32

So Jesus expresses strongly to Philip that the Father is the one in him.

13:37

that Spirit that is holy and is doing the work through Him.

13:42

Then Jesus begins to reveal them to them how they will be doing greater works than these because the Father and the Son will come in the fullness of salvation and completeness of salvation in them and will be one in the fullness of God and doing God's will towards all.

14:01

It's in verse 12 says, Verily, verily, I say unto you.

14:04

He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also, and greater works than these shall he do, because I go unto my Father.

14:15

And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

14:23

Hallelujah.

14:25

And if ye shall ask anything in my name, I will do it: if ye love me, keep my commandments.

14:32

And now I pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever, even the Spirit of Truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him but you know him, for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

14:50

Note this, Who is that Spirit of Truth that dwelleth with them, and they know?

14:56

Jesus is telling them that the Spirit of Truth, whom he is,Because He is the way, He is the truth, and is the life, is dwelling with them.

15:07

Jesus was dwelling with them.

15:09

And He says, For He dwelleth with you and shall be in you.

15:13

We now know Jesus by the Spirit.

15:16

Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and is dwelling with them, but was going to be dwelling in them, so that they would not be left alone, but He and the Father would make their abode in them.

15:27

So He tells them next.

15:29

I will not leave you comfortless.

15:32

I will come to you.

15:33

Why didn't Jesus say the Holy Spirit will come to them?

15:36

Instead He says that He will not leave them comfortless because the Spirit of Truth, who He is, will come to them.

15:44

Thus the Father and the Word and the Holy Ghost are one.

15:49

Jesus was coming back in spirit and we would be His body.

15:54

Hallelujah!

15:56

The Holy Spirit sealed us.

15:59

and is the first manifestation of our new life, the earnest of our inheritance received.

16:06

So He causes us to grow up into Him and produce more of His life, like I said earlier today.

16:13

Now we are not alone nor comfortless, for the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost has come and made their abode in us.

16:22

Now by the Holy Ghost we are brought into the Father's presence.

16:26

through the knowledge of the Son, Jesus, God's eternal Lamb, who alone is worthy.

16:33

We are not alone, but in good God company.

16:39

4 says, You are of God's little children, and have overcome them, because greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.

16:52

1 says, Wherefore, seeing we are also compassed, about with so great a cloud of witnesses.

17:00

Let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.

17:13

Hallelujah.

17:14

Thank you, Lord.

17:17

21-29, specifically 21-24 says, But you are come unto Mount Zion, and unto the city of the living God.

17:27

It doesn't say we will come.

17:29

It says, But you are come unto Mount Zion, unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, to the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect.

17:54

and to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

18:02

So because Jesus Christ is now come in our hearts and has brought and is bringing us into the Father, that as Jesus said in John 15:7-8, we can receive His goodness and blessings, for He and the Father are here to administer the finished work in us and through us,To others, through Jesus Christ, we are reconciled unto God.

18:28

He is subduing everything of our heaven and earth.

18:32

He is subduing everything of our natural and spiritual life bodies.

18:37

We are being brought into Christ Jesus.

18:41

Jesus raised from the grave afterwards.

18:43

That was our example.

18:46

He did it for us, showed us how to do it, that we may not only in spirit.

18:53

being righteous, soul being swallowed up in the presence of the sun, but our body too can be without sin.

19:03

7-8 and death and the devil.

19:07

If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done unto you.

19:15

Ask greatly the greater works ask greatly that you may behold himand be changed into the same image as it says in 2nd Corinthians 3:16-18 Herein is my Father glorified that you bear much fruit, so shall you be my disciples.

19:39

Amen.
