So let's begin with day one.
00:04
The first message is Destroy the Body of Sin.
00:10
Everyone has to deal with the body of sin.
00:13
How to do that is the question.
00:15
But our Father God has given us the answer.
00:19
Trying to crucify it in your own flesh isn't the answer.
00:23
But there is only one way to destroy the body of sin and be free from the pull of it forever.
00:30
Yes, by Jesus Christ.
00:32
Yes, by the Holy Spirit through Jesus Christ.
00:36
But it comes by the effectual working of faith.
00:40
That's how you receive.
00:42
There are many facets to the process, but in this message an easy answer is this: an encounter of Jesus Christby the Holy Spirit speaking into your soul.
00:55
And that's what's going to take place as you read the Word, as you hear during this 10-day time, every message that the Lord brings out, but even in other messages that you read and that that other ministers even are giving forth, listen to what the Holy Spirit is speaking.
01:15
within your soul.
01:16
That's the word that's that will transform you, that will cause a change to take place within you.
01:24
So an encounter of Jesus Christ and by the Holy Spirit speaking within your soul by a daily divine living word study and application by the Holy Spirit as He speaks and reveals Jesus Christ to you.
01:41
Then as you behold the Lord Jesus in His glory,Your change takes place.
01:47
A falling away of the body of sin takes place as the circumcision of Jesus Christ, God's word that is spirit and life, and as the sword of the Spirit cuts away the body of the sins of the flesh.
02:02
24 through 25 tells us, oh wretched man that I am, who shall deliver me from the body of this death?
02:10
I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
02:13
So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God but with the flesh the law of sin.
02:20
Now some uh facts have said that Romans 7:24-25 that verse 24 actually was supposed to be after verse 25 so I'd like to read it that way just so you can hear that.
02:38
Romans 7 so it's chapter 7 verse 24I'm now I'm going to read it last and so 25 is I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord so then with the mind I myself serve the law of God but with the flesh the law of sin.
02:56
O wretched man that I am who shall deliver me from the body of this death?
03:02
And then it goes on into verse into chapter 8 and you know declaring Jesus Christ as well we thank God for Jesus Christ.
03:10
But let's continueAnd we see that as Paul was saying that there is a war within himself, we can find that there is a deliverance that takes place because in Christ Jesus, we thank God through Christ Jesus our Lord because He has made that provision for us that through Him, that's the key there, through Him we may obtain our inheritance oflife without sin and without death, that co-heir existence with Him in heaven now.
03:48
6 says, Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
04:01
Let me read it again, Romans 6:6, Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with Him,that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
04:15
Romans 6 is a good chapter to let the Holy Spirit use to cut away the body of sin and apply the word that will cut away from your soul and in the renewing of your mind.
04:27
Circumcision by the Word of God, that's how it's done as the Holy Spirit speaks unto your soul, renewing your mindand allowing the regeneration of your spirit to birth forth, a cutting away of the body of the sins of the flesh takes place, and an appearing of Jesus Christ, the head of the body, manifests.
04:48
For as you behold Him, changes happen.
04:53
Every soul that has encountered Jesus Christ has been changed for the better, and that's what I see the Lordsaying about this 10 days and about transformation, that as you are committed and every day come back and receive of the Lord Jesus Christ, His Spirit, a change is going to start taking place, transformation, the manifestation of the Son of God and the manifestation of the sons of God, which is the many-membered body of Jesus Christ.
05:28
And it's not without the head, so He He comes first.
05:33
So as you behold Him, that's when changes take place.
05:38
So ask the Holy Spirit to reveal who Jesus Christ really is, what He really did, and how that really affects you, blesses you, and changes you.
05:51
Many years ago, I asked the Lord, you know, what to do for the year, you know, every beginning of the year,We sometimes will ask the Lord, you know, what's for that year.
06:00
And He told me, Go back to the beginning.
06:03
That's all He said, just go back to the beginning.
06:05
Well, Jesus Christ is is the beginning and the end.
06:10
You know, He's the author and finisher of our faith.
06:12
You know, so what the understanding spoke in me was to lay down what I knew about Jesus Christ and let the Lord reveal him to me.
06:25
just line upon line you know of who He is and that's what started taking place and truly it was an awesome fellowship and still is every day even at this very moment I feel the presence of the Lord and my speaking and receiving it back into my own ears.
06:46
So grab a hold of what the Lord is saying to you today and let's continue.
06:52
He says, I realize you know him, but when he knows you, changes happens, transformation takes place.
07:01
Behold, I stand at the door and knock.
07:04
If any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come into him and he will sup with him, and will sup with him, he says, and he with me.
07:17
20.
07:20
10-13 says, But when that which is perfect is come, and that which in part shall be done away.
07:30
When I was a child, I spake as a child, understood as a child, I thought as a child.
07:35
But when I became a man, I put away childish things.
07:40
For now we see through a glass darkly, but then face to face.
07:46
Now I know in partBut then shall I know, even as also I am known.
07:53
And what he's speaking of here is a transformation between the law of sin and death and coming into the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus.
08:03
And that law makes you free from the law of sin and death, being buried with Him in baptism of His death and risen with Him in the resurrection.
08:15
and being free from sin.
08:19
So he says, When that which is perfect is common.
08:23
So we're going to see here that Jesus Christ is that perfect one that is common in you.
08:31
And that when he hits the mark of righteousness, you are hitting that mark of righteousness.
08:36
So again, the benefits of him, letting that come forth and you realize that in him we are complete.
08:43
But if you don't know what has been completed, if you don't know the benefits, how can you walk in that?
08:50
You're still blessed, but there's more to apprehend of him who has.
08:55
apprehended you so that's what this this study is about but this is more than that it's what the Lord is wanting for you and wanting for me to grab a hold of him and apprehend that for which he has apprehended you that he may know you and and more than that that you may know even as you are known of himAnd so verse 13 says, And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three, but the greatest of these is charity.
09:29
And that's another key for us.
09:33
16-18 tells us, Nevertheless, when it shall turn to the Lord, the veil shall be taken away.
09:43
Now the Lord is that Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there's liberty.
09:49
Now the Lord in you, the Spirit of Christ in you, the Lord in you is come.
09:55
You have the Lord in you, and where the Lord is, there is liberty.
10:00
But we all with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, similar to the verse we just read.
10:10
So as beholding in a glass the glory of the Lord are changed into the same image from glory to glory.
10:19
Even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
10:22
So the Lord is the Holy Spirit in us.
10:25
The Lord is doing the work, transforming us in the very presence of Jesus Christ as we behold him and catch the understanding, apprehend who he is and what he did for us, and we realize that moment.
10:41
a change takes place in us.
10:42
And that's what he's going to continue to do as you commit to it.
10:46
And he's again saying, yes, these 10 days.
10:49
So this is day one, the message for the day, and then keep coming back and let God do a transformation.
10:58
But I I suggest don't even stop there, continue.
11:01
But he's saying if those who will commit the 10 days, the transformation will come forth.
11:06
So the Lord is working in you.
11:08
He's redeeming you unto Himself as He is unveiling and revealing Jesus Christ to you and all the fullness of God's love in Him that is now in you and for you.
11:21
As you are beholding Jesus in His glory, then change in your nature and a cutting away of the body of sins of the flesh takes place.
11:30
You won't feel that pull anymore.
11:32
That word is sharper than any two-edged sword, and it does a perfect work in you.
11:43
12 says, For the word of God is quick and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividingness under soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
11:59
And Hebrews 4 is all about coming into your rest.
12:02
So why would they put that scripture there?
12:05
Because, again, the Word of God, that is what the Holy Spirit speaking into you is sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to dividing asunder, soul and spirit.
12:17
It is circumcising, cutting away the body of the sins of the flesh.
12:24
And it's causing you to come into your rest.
12:26
The rest the Father has prepared for you in his Son, the perfect one, by faith in Christ Jesus and what he did for us.
12:34
The door to the Father come through the Son, being born of God by his word, that is Spirit and life.
12:43
Now there's a multitude of scriptures.
12:46
that you can study and if you want to write those down, 22-23, 26-27, 12-14, 3-8, 18-21, 1-10, 4-7 and there's many more.
13:13
So enter inWalking in faith, going through the door of Jesus Christ, walking in the Lamb of God through the Lamb of God, walking in faith of the grace of God, rest from your works and learn of the Lord Jesus by the Holy Spirit, writing upon your heart and putting in your mind the new blood covenant of God's perfect Lamb.
13:39
A new way to have communion with the Father is come.
13:44
Jesus Christ, God's Lamb, has made the way for us to enter into the new life with God as co-heir with the Son.
13:54
Pretty awesome.
13:56
He is our head and we are his body, purchased by his blood, forgiven of all sin that could have had any possibility to separate us from life with God our Father.
14:09
And that sin no longer is allowed to work in us, grace abounds.
14:14
27-30 All things are delivered unto me of my Father, and no man knoweth the Son but the Father, neither knoweth any man the Father save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.
14:31
Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
14:36
Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me, for I am meek and lowly in heart.
14:43
and you shall find rest unto your souls.
14:46
For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
14:50
Just for us, He paid our debt, the cost of sin, which is death.
14:55
We can come boldly to the throne of grace and have perfect fellowship with the Father through the Son, Jesus Christ.
15:03
But coming through the Word, the flaming sword, through the door, who is Jesus Christ, means that a cutting away of our flesh has to happen.
15:13
And it might not be comfortable all the time.
15:16
No carnality can come with us.
15:19
And well, that is what is needed.
15:22
And our God shall supply all our need according to His riches and glory by Christ Jesus.
15:32
And we press on and we press on to enterKnowing the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead is the same Holy Spirit in us, working in us, reconciling us to the Father through the Son, and causing us to be raised out of death, and causing the body of the sins of the flesh to fall away.
15:55
Hallelujah!
15:57
We have the new body pressing through, and it is the divine nature of Christ Jesus, the resurrection of life, the Lord and quickening Spirit, the second man,who is without sin and death.
16:13
Jesus Christ, He took on the first Adam, nature, being the quickening spirit, to repair and fulfill what He did not.
16:29
And through the righteousness of Jesus Christ, we arePermit it, you might say, we we have the blessing, the grace to be transformed, to be birthed forth, to be taken out of the, released from the body of the sins of the flesh, that first Adam, and birthed forth after the second man, the Lord from heaven, the last Adam.
17:01
the same image as the Son of God.
17:04
We are the sons of God, yet we are the many members of that one body of the perfect one who is the Son of God, Jesus Christ, and He is head of us all.
17:15
There's only one head and that is Jesus Christ.
17:19
And being joined to Him, we can be transformed and then the body of the sins of the flesh is destroyed and is no more in Christ Jesus.
17:29
So enter on in.
17:31
And receive the blessing of the Lord.
17:33
Amen.
